Slate & Stone Jewelry is an artisan jewelry line, designed and constructed by Sophie Silverstein in her San Francisco studio. Each piece is made by hand and involves many steps, including designing, sawing, sanding, filing, soldering, casting, polishing, and more. How long will my order take to ship?
All of our pieces are made to order, so please allow two weeks for your order to ship. if you need it sooner, please email us before placing your order.
What metals do you use?
Each piece will state the metals used in the product listing. We use recycled sterling silver and 18k gold plate (with brass or bronze underneath). All of our ear wires are sterling silver or gold plate over sterling silver.
How do I care for my piece?
Please take care of your jewelry by keeping it clean and away from water, soaps and lotions. Store your pieces in a dry location. If the piece gets something on it, wipe clean immediately. Sunshine Polishing Cloths can be used to clean and polish a variety of metals.
Do you accept returns?
All the jewelry is handmade to order, so we do not accept returns. But, we want you to love your jewelry and wear it - so please contact us and we'll see if we can put together an exchange for a piece you like more. All sales are final on sale or discounted items and items are sold "as is" - no returns or exchanges.
Can you repair my jewelry?
Yes, if you have a piece of Slate & Stone Jewelry that is in need of repair, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Repair fees may apply.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. International orders are shipped via USPS and will be delivered by local post or its affiliates. We are unable to guarantee any delivery time frames. Customers are responsible for paying all duties, taxes and other fees which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination. Duties on goods can widely vary, depending on the product and the country. Other charges and duties may also apply, depending on the items. For more information, please contact your local customs office. If you prefer a more secure or faster shipping method, please contact us and we will send you a quote for FedEx or UPS. We are unable to accept returns, exchanges or repairs from our international customers due to shipping costs.
Do you have sales?

Do you offer wholesale?

Can I buy one earring if I lost the other?
Yes, you can! We charge a small fee to make just one and we might need you to return the earring you still have in order to match it. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
